4 months going on 14...

Merry Christmas everyone! Baby Brady is growing like a weed and now weighs a whopping 18 pounds. He is our "little" turkey. He got lots of goodies and loved meeting all of his family. Such a lucky little boy. Here's wishing you a happy new year! Lots of love...

my neck is so strong!

Brady is working so hard! We go to physical therapy twice a week to stretch his neck muscle and he is improving so much. Look at him hold his head up all by himself!

3 months old!

Yesterday, baby Brady turned three months old! He is such a growing, big boy and I cannot believe he is already a three-month-old. He is smiling and laughing so much and is always "talking" up a storm. He loves to coo and make funny noises. It is the best sound in the whole world.

We have our Christmas tree up and Brady loves to stare at the lights. And, we went outside yesterday (quickly!) so he could feel his first-ever snowflakes on his sweet, little head. We are so excited for Christmas and can't wait to spend time with our family and friends.

Two months...

Wreck 'em, Tech!

Boy, oh boy, is Brady growing! We went for his two-month check up yesterday (complete with three shots, yikes!). He weighs 14.9 pounds and is 25 inches long; which puts him in the 97th percentile. Basically, if you put 100 babies in a room, Brady would be longer and heavier than 96 of them!

We have also recently hit another huge milestone, more for mommy, in a baby's life...Brady slept through the night! And we are talking, through the night...almost 11 hours! He is so tired from spending time with Gammie during the day that he just poops out. Thank you, Gammie!

Other than sleeping and eating, Brady enjoys watching Arthur from the comfort of his vibrating chair. He loves the colors and the high-pitched voices. He coos a lot and we enjoy having little conversations with him. We are working with Miss Heidi (Brady's physical therapist) twice a week to get Brady's neck nice and strong. Sometimes he doesn't like the stretches or tummy time, but he progressing nicely. Hope all is well!

The best milestone has come! He gave us his first real smile just days earlier...my cup burneth over.

6 weeks old and growing...

Today baby Brady Hart is 6 weeks old. Such a big growing boy! No smile yet, but we are so close. We still have not established quite a routine sleeping schedule, but mommy and daddy are learning to be patient. I now understand just how hard being a mommy is, but it sure is rewarding. It's the best, most hardest thing I have ever had to do. Such an honor that God selected Justin & I to become Brady's parents. God is good.
