1 month old!

Today, baby Brady is one month old! I cannot believe it. My, how the time flies. We are still up at night; Brady seems to have his days and nights confused. I swear, the minute I get into bed and close my eyes, baby Brady becomes nocturnal! Even so, he is so precious and we are enjoying every minute of our lives with him. God is good!

He is becoming more and more alert and we are just holding our breath until we get to see his very first smile (not due to gas!). We had our very first outing, to Nordy's, of course, and he slept like an angel. Soon, we will be out and about even more. Stay tuned for more pictures of our handsome "little" man.

baby Brady is three weeks old today! my, how the time has gone by fast. he has already gained a pound and two inches. he weighs 11 pounds and 12 ounces and now measures 23 inches long. what a big boy! mommy and daddy are doing well. with a good night comes a bad one. but one little smirk on that precious boy's face and it's all worth it. brady doesn't open his eyes much, but when he does, he's such a cutie! he hasn't been out to the world yet, too many koodies, but soon. diesel and malibu sure do love their new brother, but boy are they tired! we're making memories every day and loving every moment of it.

welcome to the world Brady!

Brady Hart Blankenship made his world debut at 10:58 a.m. on September 9, 2009...our lucky 9/9/09 baby boy! He weighed a whopping 10 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

He is an absolute blessing and we are so excited to welcome him to our family. Diesel and Malibu are taking extra special care of their brother and mommy and daddy are learning to be the best parents they can be!

Well, today is baby Brady's official due date! Still no baby...

Today the good Lord took my Bebe up to heaven. After a whirlwind of eight or nine sickly months, she is finally able to rest among her friends. While she will not get to meet baby Brady, i know that she is putting some finishing touches on him right now. Just don't make him too big, okay bebe! I hope it's everything you thought it would be.
We love and miss you, bebe.

I thought for sure Brady was going to be an August baby not a September one. Well, it's looking like the latter. STILL NO BABY! I go to the doctor on Wednesday-one last time-to check on baby via sonogram. While I welcome any opportunity to see him, I am ready to see him for real! If he doesn't come on his own (i mean, i completely understand. i have made a very comfy home!), he will be induced on Wednesday, September 9.

Since Justin and I were married on 7.7.07, having our first baby on 9.9.09 sounds like another lucky day. Surely I can hold out until then. Ask me again on Friday...
